Office for National Statistics
ONS is the executive statistics office producing national official statistics within the Authority system.
ONS maintains statistical series, observations, releases, methods, analysis, revisions and public statistical enquiries. The Authority provides the governance and integrity framework within which that work operates.
The Authority does not turn every ONS production decision into a political approval process. Professional statistical judgement and release integrity must be protected.
